We will be hosting our annual Job Fair/Open House for our available hospitality positions at the ballpark for the 2024 season. It will be held at the ballpark (860 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807) on Saturday, February 24th from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. 03/17/2023: Petits Enfants School Preschool Assistant

Petits Enfants School is a Childcare center and Preschool that has been in Metuchen for more than 50 years. We are currently looking to hire a High School student who might be interested in working with our Preschool and Kindergarten aged kids after school, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The starting time can be adjusted to a later time based on your high school dismissal time.

The job responsibilities are:

Positive interaction with children as they take part in games and activities.
Supervision of children inside the classroom and outside in the playground.
Assist during snack hours
Reading to kids
Ready children for pickup in the evening.
Ensure the classroom and kids are clean and safe at all times.

Position requires a background check as per NJ Department of Children and Families.

Pay will be $14.13/hour with the possibility of increased hours during summer. The student has to be 17 years old and up. We are looking to have the student start as soon as possible. If you interested in working with kids or going into a school environment, this is a great stepping stone for you!

FOR CURRENT JUNIORS: This program will expose rising high school seniors to various opportunities in healthcare. It will also provide experiential opportunities to understand diverse careers in the healthcare setting.

The objective of the program is for students to:

• Experience "a day in the life" of talented leaders in a healthcare workplace environment

• Gain the knowledge needed to select a career within healthcare

• Develop a clear understanding of the various roles in the healthcare setting

03/01/2023 Rutgers Gardens 4H Camp Counselors

4-H Camp at Rutgers Gardens is looking for enthusiastic, caring and team-minded day camp counselors who believe in our camper-centric philosophy, and have a love for the outdoors to spend the summer with us!

The camp counselor role is a 5-week commitment beginning with a week of staff training during the last week in June followed by 4 single week sessions running throughout the month of July. Sessions will run 9am-4pm daily Monday through Friday with the exception of our shortened mini-session.

Counselors must be 18 or older to apply and enjoy working with youth ages 6 through 12. We encourage applicants to bring their own creativity and interests as we develop our new day camp experience!
