With 80 percent of careers growing in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), school officials are moving forward with an eight-year STEM action program to provide a path for students in the district.
As Metuchen High School principal, Bruce Peragallo likes to support the Bulldogs on the playing fields. But with a packed schedule, he had to miss some of the action, especially the baseball team’s postseason success this spring.
