A Metuchen High School senior emerged victorious during Rider University's Shark Tank-esque Norm Brodsky Idea/Business Concept Competition on Jan. 17, the university announced.
After a report by a professional demographer, the Board of Education will continue to closely monitor the population growth in the district.
A familiar name will be on the bench coaching once again for the Metuchen High School girls’ basketball team.
Metuchen will be coached by Kathy Glutz, who had guided the team during the 1980s and 1990s.
Three schools — Metuchen High School, Edgar Middle School and Campbell Elementary School — have been recognized for their efforts in sustainability.
Metuchen High School will announce its honored second Hall of Fame induction class during halftime of the Bulldogs’ annual Thanksgiving Day football game against longtime rival Highland Park.
Each year, the Middlesex County Guidance Council presents one student from every high school in the county with a Caring Award for outstanding volunteer community service. The 2017 Caring Awards were presented to students during a ceremony held last month at Middlesex County College.
