Students in the preschool handicapped program, Kindergarten (Moss School), and Grades 1 through 4 (Campbell School) receive the newsletter in school and carry it home in their backpacks.

The newsletter is mailed home to the families of students in grades 5 through 8 (Edgar Middle School) and Grades 8 through 12 (Metuchen High School).

The district also produces a community newsletter three times a year -- at the beginning of the school year, in march, and at the end of the school year. These newsletters are distributed to the community as inserts in "The Crit."

The September community newsleter includes information on new staff and a staff telephone directory. The March edition contains information on the school budget prior to the upcoming vote. The June/July edition highlights the prior year's accomplishments in the schools and in the district. It also provides a school calendar for the upcoming school year.
