Kevin McPeek

Mr. McPeek was appointed Principal of Edgar Middle School in July 2017. Mr. McPeek’s career in education began in 1999 when he was a teacher and coach in the Flemington-Raritan School District. In 2005, Mr. McPeek became an Assistant Principal at Auten Road Intermediate School in Hillsborough, NJ.  For the past 10 years, Mr. McPeek served as the Principal of Copper Hill Elementary School in Flemington. Mr. McPeek received a BA in Elementary Education and American Studies, along with his Master’s of Arts in Educational Leadership from Rider University. Mr. McPeek resides in Easton, PA with his wife and three daughters.

Brian Stike
Assistant Principal

Mr. Stike was appointed as the Assistant Principal at Edgar Middle School in August, 2014. He is a graduate of West Chester University of PA, Villanova University, and the University of Scranton, with degrees in Music Education (B.S), Theatre (M.A), and Educational Administration (M.S) respectively. Mr. Stike began his career as an educator of music and performing arts/theatre in Lacey Township New Jersey in September of 1999, where he also led many extra-curricular music ensembles and directed the High School Theatrical Productions. Prior to coming to Metuchen, Mr. Stike was a District Supervisor of Music in South Brunswick, NJ. Mr. Stike also serves in the Air National Guard as an enlisted musician, performing with the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast as a Trumpet player.
